Both the Dam (mother) and Sire (father) undergo Embark DNA testing, screening for 265+ genetic health conditions to ensure only the healthiest dogs are bred. Each puppy comes with 30 days free health insurance. How Does the Waiting List Work?

At Platinum Pomskies, our waiting list process is designed to be transparent and fair to all prospective Pomsky owners. Once a pregnancy is confirmed in one of our breeding females, we open our waitlist to interested families. To secure a spot, a non-refundable $500 deposit is required, which is later applied toward the full purchase price of the puppy. Deposits are processed in the order they are received, meaning earlier deposits get priority when it comes time to select a puppy.

After the puppies are born, we provide updates with photos and videos as they grow. It’s important to note that even pomsky puppies from the same litter can vary widely in appearance and temperament due to their mixed heritage.

When they reach 5 weeks old, families on the waitlist are contacted in the order of their deposits to choose their preferred puppy based on temperament, color, and gender (if they have a preference). Pomsky puppies born in the same litter may show significant differences in size, coat, and color, making each selection unique. The remaining balance is due before the puppy leaves our care at 8 weeks of age, after passing a final health check.

How Long Will I Have to Wait for a Puppy?

Typically, families can expect to welcome their dream Pomsky in within 1-6 months depending on particular preferences. How Do You Breed a Husky with a Pomeranian 

Breeding a Husky with a Pomeranian is a complex process due to the extreme size difference between the two breeds. Natural breeding is not safe or practical when breeding F1, so reputable breeders rely on artificial insemination (AI). Due to the size difference between the breeds, natural breeding is not feasible. Pomskies are bred through controlled breeding practices to ensure the health and safety of both parents and puppies. How Big Do Pomskies Get?

Pomskies are considered small to medium-sized dogs, though their exact size can vary depending on their genetic makeup. First-generation (F1) Pomskies—those with one purebred Husky parent and one purebred Pomeranian parent—typically are the hardest to gage in weight  12-50 pounds and stand 12~18 inches tall at the shoulder. F1b Pomskies (an F1 Pomsky backcrossed with a Pomeranian) tend to be smaller, averaging 15–25 pounds. Some breeders also produce even smaller “toy” or “mini” Pomskies, which typically come from many generations down may weigh as little as 10–15 pounds.
